What is contained in this site is a tapestry from which, hopefully, you will be able to
step back from and which will perhaps allow you to see order from within the apparent
chaos of knowledge .. and the source of some of your reactions to some of the things which
confront us in our life. This written material comes from a series of posts to the
discussion list and I would like to express my gratitude to those whose input has allowed
me to find a more universal language and those, who, in the sharing of their individual
processes (the things they judge they should not have said) have allowed me to shift my
perspective a number of times to find a more universal language. The essenceIn the Tao Te Ching, Lao Tzu said (and I am using a translation by Henry Wei) - Without going out of doors,
- one can know the world;
- without looking through the window,
- one can realise the Way of Heaven.
- The farther one goes,
- the less one knows.
- Therefore the sage knows without going out,
- discriminates without seeing,
- and accomplishes without action.
Words and LanguageLanguage itself is composed of words .. Words are sounds to which meaning has been ascribed in order for communication to take
place between two or more .. whether this be between two or more aspects of the one person
.. or between one person and another. The meaning that is mentally learned may be entirely different to the meaning that is
associated with the memories stored as energy field distortions within the physical body. Words are the tool of the intellect, generated by the mind based on the unconscious
memories stored in the cell-f (or the physical body - the 90% of the mind that most deny
exists). Reactions come from the cell-fIf I have a reaction to some one else's "lingo", I want to know what my
reaction is to that which is triggered by the use of this particular key word ... then
another part of myself finds peace with itself .... If I cannot do that when I write, I may be using an internal emotional reaction to
express myself which the reader "picks up on" ... If I feel an emotion coming from the words as I dictate them, then these words are not
"clear" within me. If there is no emotion in what I write, in the words I use, (because there is no
conflict within the aspects of my self ...) then the reader's reaction is from the
triggers in his or her own body .. not any thought, projection or program I might be
imposing.
The Psychology or Philosophy of Transpersonal Spirituality is not a religion; it does
not present a belief system or provide an institutional structure. Rather, it is a field of self inquiry which offers insights based on understanding of
personal experience and provides practices for evaluating and resolving reactions from
within the cell-f. |
